Not a bad thing I could say…. When in Maine you get lobster/seafood it’s a thing i guess. Glad we decided to stop here food was great. Service was top notch. Very clean and quick service and food came out fast. If you’re in the area you should stop by. You won’t be disappointed.

As advertised, this is THE BEST lobster roll! We went to multiple restaurants while we were in Maine. We drove two hours just to go back and have lunch here one more time. It was the first lobster roll we had while in Maine and the last! My daughter had the cold lobster roll, and I had the hot. When we went back the last time, we also had the halibut nuggets. Everything was freshly made, hot and outstanding! It was also the most generous portions we found anywhere. It will definitely be our first stop when we go back!

We stopped in on the way to Acadia. It was really flavorful and inexpensive. Im not sure if I liked the scallops more than the lobster or the haddock more than the scallops. I'm not sure what the cook is using for seasoning, but it was amazing. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. I knew we needed to return before the long ride home. Unfortunately, it wasn't as flavorful on the way home. It could've been a different cook or because they were busy. I would give it one more shot when I visit before completely checking it off the list.

What a cool little place! It's a surprise, not a big restaurant area but you see it at the side of the road and you can't help but stop. They have some great options where you can wait outside at the window and get it to go. There is usually a line every time we pass by. You can also go in to the little tavern area and sit down or sit down at the little restaurant area. There is a cold Sam Adams Summer Brew ready for you if you need something refreshing to go with a fresh lobster roll or a hot buttered lobster roll which is what our choice was. It was absolutely fabulous and the ladies that were there serving us were amazing. The bartender was happy to help us get set up and we enjoyed a long leisurely lunch. The tables also had maps of Maine which was really cool because we were able to look at the maps and find out where different family members lived or grew up. The service was great and even though they were shorthanded, we waited a little longer but it was worth it. They were super friendly and apologized profusely for making anyone wait. They are very proud of their restaurant and take great pride in trying to make people feel happy and get what you need. Definitely take the time to stop at this cool place!

Disclaimer: this was my first time having whole lobster. If I could do it again I would probably just get a lobster roll. The lobster smelled like the ocean in a bad way but I don't think that's Jone's fault, I think that's just the way lobster is, especially once you break off the tail. The atmosphere and staff were friendly, and everything was very clean including bathrooms. Others with ordered the haddock and lobster roll which were great.

Great lobster rolls. This was my 1st time here, while in the area I stopped at 2 other places for lobster rolls, this was my favorite. Will definitely stop in again next time I'm in town

Please don't miss eating at this gem of a place. We had haddock and shrimp basket and it was more than the 2 of us could eat. The fish was deliciously fried and tender. The homemade tartar sauce is the best I have ever had. It's clean and a quiet and easy atmosphere.
